Overview – Canouan Real Estate
Located south of Bequia and north of Mayreau, Union Island and Palm Island, the tiny island of Canouan has a population of just 1,700 people.
The island is fringed by some of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the Grenadines (such as Carenage Bay, Godahl Bay, Windward Bay and Friendship Bay) and surrounded by a barrier reef which offers some of the most diverse diving in the Caribbean.
For buyers considering investing in Canouan real estate, the development of the Pink Sands Club is expected to provide a significant boost to the island’s luxury property market. Two thirds of the island is owned by the Pinks Sands Club which is currently being developed by the owner of Barbados’s Sandy Lane into a highly exclusive luxury hotel with ESPA spa and Jim Fazio golf course.
