How to Get to Santa Teresa
To get to Santa Teresa, fly to Costa Rica’s Juan Santamaria Airport (SJO) just outside San Jose.
There are direct flights to San Jose from the USA, Canada and Europe.
From San Jose you can take a domestic flight to Tambor Airport which takes 25 minutes and then either drive or take a taxi to Santa Teresa which takes approximately 35 minutes.
Alternatively, you can drive from San Jose to Santa Teresa which takes approximately 4 hours plus a ferry ride plus a ferry ride across the Gulf of Nicoya from Puntarenas Ferry Port to Paquera which takes approximately 70 minutes.
