How to Get to Placencia & Stann Creek
By Air
Placencia is served by Placencia Airport.
There are numerous daily flights from Belize’s international airport to Placencia Airport with Maya Island Air and Tropic Air.
The flight takes approximately 40 minutes.
By Road
It is possible to drive to Placencia from Belize City International Airport.
From the airport it is about a 3 hour drive to Placencia via the Southern Highway which leads to the Placencia Road – a 27 mile paved road which runs the length of the Placencia Peninsula from the north through Maya Beach to the town of Placencia in the south.
