Recently released data indicates that investor interest in Turks & Caicos real estate remains high.
$198 Million of Turks & Caicos Real Estate Sales in Q3 2018
According to a report compiled from data provided by the Turks & Caicos Real Estate Association, buyers snapped up over $198 million of property in the Turks & Caicos Islands during the third quarter of this year.
This represents a total of 275 real estate transactions and a slight increase on the same period last year.
Over $94 Million of Home Sales
The total value of sales of single family homes rose to over $94 million, with the average selling price increasing to $1,373,909.
Condo Sales Remain Strong
The value of sales of condos in the Turks & Caicos Islands remained roughly the same as the third quarter of 2017, totaling over $55 million.
Land Sales Up 16%
Sales of land saw the most significant increase, rising by 16% from approximately $38 million to over $44 million.
Positive Outlook for Full Year 2018
With more than $123 million of pending transactions, 2018 is forecast to be a very good year for Turks & Caicos real estate.
